Kenji Williams performs a standing ovation BELLA GAIA LIVE show at the Congressional Auditorium, for the 50th Anniversary of TIROS, the first Earth weather satellite. Newly integrated time-lapse imagery of melting glaciers from National Geographic photographers James Balog, and Gulf Oil spill photography by Daniel Beltra intercut with near-live satellite images of the oil spill from space.
The show was followed by presentations by James Balog and Dr. Waleed Abdalati. Hosted by Senator Mikulski, with other congressional and space industry personnel in attendance including head of NASA Charles Bolden, and the AIAA. Special thanks: Golden Pyramid of Peace.
